ALAMOSA, Colo.—The Grizzlies played a nine-inning game in Alamosa against the No. 4 ranked Colorado Mesa University Mavericks.
Colorado Mesa 29, Adams State 1
The Mavericks jumped out to an early lead in the first inning and added on that lead by putting seven runs up in the second. The Grizzlies shut them down in the third and the fourth inning but then gave up an eight spot in the fifth inning.
Will Morley hit a solo home run in the bottom of the sixth inning and produced the Grizzlies only run of the game.
