DENVER, Colo.— The Grizzlies took on Metropolitan State University of Denver Roadrunners in a nine-inning and a seven-inning double header to finish off the weekend.
Game 1: MSUD 6, Adams 4
The Grizzlies were the first on the board by scoring three runs in the top of the third inning with a single by Kolten Bleggi with scored a run and another single by Cedric Reynaud which scored two runs. The Roadrunners answered with three runs of their own in the bottom of the third inning. The Grizzlies regained the lead in top of the fourth inning with a with a double by
Orlando Romero that scored a run. The Roadrunners took the in the seventh inning with two runs and added another run in the eighth inning.
Nathan Hield and Cedric Reynaud lead the Grizzlies with two hits apiece.
Game 2: MSUD 19, Adams 2
The Grizzlies jumped out to an early lead with a solo home run by Cedric Reynaud in the top of the first inning. The Roadrunners scored nineteen unanswered runs in the game. The Grizzlies added another run in the seventh inning.
Chase Dixon had the only other hit for the Grizzlies in the game.
