COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—The Grizzlies took a road trip up the Colorado Springs for a weekend series against the University of Colorado of Colorado Springs Mountain Lions. The Grizzlies opened up the series with a nine-inning game on Friday and fell 13-5.

The Grizzlies jumped out to an early lead. The Grizzlies scored three runs in the top of the second inning with two run scoring singles by
Orlando Romero and Kolten Bleggi. The Mountain Lions then responded with five runs in the bottom of third inning, two runs in the fourth inning and three runs in the fifth inning. The Grizzlies added two more runs in the top of the six with a sacrifice fly by
Jace Wytulka and a run scoring single by
Chase Dixon. The Mountain Lions added three more runs in the bottom of the eighth inning. Matthew Bathauer lead the Grizzlies with three total hits on the day.
