SALT LAKE CITY, Utah —It was a beautiful day in Salt Lake City and a great day for some lacrosse. The Adams State Men's Lacrosse team took on Westminster. It was a hard fought game by the Grizzlies, but they unfortunately lost to Westminster 21-2.
Westminster came out to a quick start and ended the first quarter with a 5-0 run. This continued into the second quarter as the Griffins scored 5 more and held the Grizzlies to 0.
The second half the Grizzlies finally found the back of the net. Brett Carberry and Kyle Coking scored for the Grizzlies. Unfortunately, the Griffins scored six more by the end of the third quarter, making the score 16-2.
The Grizzlies didn't score again. The final score was 21-2 as Westminster took the win.
The Grizzlies are now 0-6 on the season. They will be playing next on April 25th, in Grand Junction against Colorado Mesa University.
