GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — In Grand Junction the Adams State Men's Lacrosse team took on Colorado Mesa University. The afternoon game, unfortunately, ended in Colorado Mesa's favor with the final score of 23-3.
The Mavericks started off fast and aggressive with 11 goals in the first quarter. The Grizzlies were unable to find the back of the net.
The second quarter was different for the Grizzlies. They were able to score one goal. However, Colorado Mesa answered back with six goals.
The same thing happened in the third quarter, with the Grizzlies scoring one to Colorado Mesa's six. The Grizzlies were able to hold Mesa to no goals in the fourth quarter. They were also able to find the back of the net once again, making the final score 23-3.

The Grizzlies are still looking for their first win as they play their last game against Colorado State University Pueblo on May 1st in Pueblo.
