PUEBLO, Colo.— It was a warm evening in Pueblo, Colorado when the Adams State Grizzlies took on the Pueblo ThunderWolves. Unfortunately, the Grizzlies lost 6-8 to end the regular season.
The first quarter was in the Grizzlies favor as they were up 1-0. This however, didn't last through the second quarter. Pueblo scored three to Adams State's two making the score tied 3-3 at halftime.
The second half was completely different than the first. The Grizzlies scored one goal to the ThunderWolves two, making the score 5-4 in favor of the ThunderWolves.
In the fourth quarter the Grizzlies were outscored yet again. The ThunderWolves scored three to the Grizzlies two. Brett Carberry, Kyle Butler, Dawson Balabanoff, and Tyler Hubbard were awarded the goals. The final score was 8-6.
This was the Grizzlies last game of the regular season and they will be in the RMAC Tournament next week in Grand Junction.
