ALAMOSA, Colo. – It was a great night in Colorado Springs as the Adams State Grizzlies took on the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs Mountain Lions. The Grizzlies were not able to come back from an early and late goal. 

The first half started at 7:30 p.m. and both teams came to play. The Grizzlies and Mountain Lions remained scoreless until the 22nd minute when Liam MgGuire from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs scored an unassisted goal. The score would remain this way for the remainder of the first half. 

The second half was back and forth just like the first half. The Grizzlies and the Mountain Lions both made a couple of decent runs. The Grizzlies held the Mountain Lions to only one goal until the 79 th minute. Alex Andersson scored and was assisted by Liam McGuire. This late goal would be the last as the score remained 2-0. 

Up next, the Grizzlies travel to Lakewood, Colorado to play South Dakota Mines on Sunday, September 26th, at 2:00 p.m. Then, the Grizzlies have a weekend at home against Colorado School of Mines on October 1st and Colorado Christian University on October 3rd, for the third time this year.
