In the first half the Grizzlies and the Orediggers both came out strong and physical. The game continued to go back and forth throughout the whole first half, as the score remained tied at zero. "I'm proud of the way our team played, fought for one another, and stuck together. The score wasn't indicative of the game at all," Head Coach Colin Baker remarked. "But that's soccer. You can do a lot of great things but still walk away frustrated.
Up next, the Grizzlies travel to Denver, Colorado to play Regis University on Sunday, September 26th, at 1:00 p.m.
"We will keep our heads up, stay positive, and ready to go," Baker said in regards to their next match. "We will regroup and get ready for Sunday."
After Sunday, the Grizzlies have a weekend at home against Colorado Christian University on October 1st and Western Colorado University on October 3rd.
