MBB | Grizzlies to hit the road at Western and Fort Lewis

ALAMOSA, Colo. — The Adams State University Men's basketball will continue their games on the road as they head to Western Colorado University and Fort Lewis College.
 
The Grizzlies last game played was at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. The Grizzlies had a tough game, as they just couldn't find a rhythm to stay with the Mountain Lions ending in a final score 65-103. Jordan Notch had his first game back since his last game played December 4th against UCCS. Jordan Notch was leading scorer ending with 20 points, five rebounds. Tyrin Hollis also scored in double figures ending with 15 points going 6-9 from the free throw line.
 
Up first, the Grizzlies will head to Gunnison Colorado where they will meet to play Western Colorado University on Friday, January 21st at 7:30 p.m. They will then travel to Durango Colorado where they will play Fort Lewis College Saturday, January 22nd at 7:00 p.m.
 
Western Colorado University last game played was against Chadron State College. Western had three players scoring in high double figures. Leading Western in scoring we had Matthew Ragsdale with 24 points and going 5-9 from the three. Elijah Davidson had a double-double 22 points 13 rebounds. Lastly, we had Avery Rembao 16 points and six rebounds. Western fought a tough battle, but couldn't finish, ending with a final score 96-107.
 
The next team the Grizzles will match up this weekend will be against Fort Lewis College Saturday, January 22nd at 7:00 p.m.
 
Fort Lewis College was supposed to play against Chadron State College January 14th,  but has been postponed due to COVID. The Skyhawks have not played since January 4th against South Dakota Mines. Leading the Skyhawks in points that game was Akuel Kot with 19 points and 6 rebounds. Junior Garbrah was up next with 13 points going 4-9 from field goal. South Dakota Mines ended up with a win with a final score 94-78.
 
The Grizzlies will end their road games in in Durango Colorado, and will head back home to play against Regis University Friday, January 28th at 7:30 p.m. They will remain in Plachy Hall to face Colorado School of Mines Saturday, January 29th at 7:30 p.m.
