KEARNEY, Neb.—The No. 14 ranked Adams State University Wrestling Team was able to make a successful last-minute trip to Kearney, Nebraska as the Grizzlies went 2-1 at the Midwest Duals. The Grizzlies defeated Fort Hays State 30-15. fell to No. 1 ranked Central Oklahoma ??-?? and defeated Central Missouri ??.
 
#14 Adams State 30, Fort Hays State 15
Adams State won the first seven matches of the dual with For Hays with the 141-pound match between Angel Flores and Cole Zebley being a nail bitter that went into overtime before Flores earned the sudden victory win.
 
Adams State won all but one match as they saw a forfeit at 125 pounds, a fall at 174 pounds and a technical fall at 133 pounds for the dominate win.

After dropping the first three matches via decision, the Grizzlies earned a win at 149 pounds when Noah Hermosillo earned a fall over Garrett Messimor in just 1:33. No. 6 ranked Josiah Rider was able to than defeat No. 3 Ty Lucas with a 7-1 decision to tie the dual up at nine. Samuel Loera then earned 5-2 decision at 165 points to give the Grizzlies a lead at 12-9.
 
The Bronchos would not stay down, however as they won the final four matches for the dual win.
