DURANGO, Colo. -- Northern New Mexico held off Adams State 82-77 in Whalen Gymnasium Nov. 19

NNMC improved to 1-2 this season, while the Grizzlies fell to 1-3.

Jaylin Reed was the top scorer for ASU. He finished with 16 points, including three baskets from 3-point range. Kolby Walker added 13, including three from long range. Maison Adeyele led the Grizzlies with six rebounds.

Conner Kelley topped the Lobos' score sheet with 20 points. Guillem Garcia added 18 and pulled down seven rebounds. Jamal Harris and Joe Satterfield Jr. dished out three assists.

NNMU made 53 percent of its field goals. Adams State made just 41 percent of its tries from the field. There were six ties and six lead changes in the contest.
