KINGSVILLE, Texas -- A stifling defense held the Adams State University Grizzlies to less points than the host Texas A&M University Kingsville Javelinas in every quarter as the Grizzlies dropped their second game of the season, 63-41.
The Grizzlies, who were led by Elaina Watson and Darlosha Reed's nine-point showings, shot 15-of-60 (25 percent) from the field in Wednesday night's contest. They secured 34 rebounds.
The Grizzlies will return to action on Saturday when they travel to Grelley, Colo. to take on the University of Northern Colorado Bears in an exhibition game.
