St. CHARLES, Mo. — The Adams State Grizzlies were on the road today against No. 12 Lindenwood University where they fell 19-3.
With the Grizzlies last game being 16 days ago, the Grizzlies held strong against Lindenwood but by the end of the first period LWU was up 3-0. The Grizzlies were scoreless and that remained the same into half time. LWU was able to find the back of the net six more times before halftime.
The third period was better for the Grizzlies as their offense finally started to get moving. The Grizzlies were able to find the back of the net, but so did LWU. The score at the end of the third period was 16-1. The Grizzlies scored twice more in the fourth period. However this wasn't enough to end victorious against Lindenwood, as the final score was 19-3.
Up next, the Grizzlies will play Quincy University on March 23rd. The next home game for the Grizzlies won't be until April 22nd when they host Westminster College.
