ALAMOSA, Colo.__ The Adams State men and women's cross country team took to Cattail Golf Course on Saturday morning as the Grizzlies swept the University Division titles at the 29th Annual Joe I. Vigil with the men scoring 16 points and the women's team scoring 15.

Adams State held six top ten finishes in the race as
Brianna Robles was the first grizzly to cross the line. Robles finished the 5,000 meter race with a time of 17:08.38.
Nicole Lawrence had a strong finish as she placed second (17:41.32), followed by
Precious Robinson in fourth (17:55.81),
Emily Schoellkopf finished fifth (18:05.02),
Morgan Hykes in sixth (18:09.51), and Franziska Althaus in ninth (18:34.13).

Awet Beraki set the tone of the race as he lead from the gun to take the win with a time of 24:51.88. Cameron Allen maintained a good pace throughout the race and finished in second (25:24.32), followed by
Yonas Haile in third (25:35.85), Elijah De La Cerda in fourth ( 25:40.61),
James Dunne in sixth ( 25:54.88),
Clement Duigou in seventh (25:57.82),
David Cardenas in ninth ( 26:01.72), and
Davonte Jett-Reynolds in 10
th ( 26:10.06).
