WSOC| Grizzlies hit the road for RMAC tilts

ALAMOSA, Colo. -- After a tough weekend against the Orediggers and the Rangers, Adams State University is hitting the road and heading to Lakewood, Colorado to play against Colorado Christian University this Friday at Trailblazer Stadium. Friday's match will be the second away game for the Grizzlies.

Kickoff for Friday's match is slated for 11:00 a.m. (MST) and can be streamed on the RMAC Network.

The Cougars are coming in with a 1-5 record in the early goings of the season. They are looking to turn things around this weekend and end their five-game losing streak.

The Cougars are led by Carpi Dewing with one goal against Tampa during their last nonconference game.

Goalkeeper Alana Lopp has a goal against average of 2.00 and a 0.778 save percentage.

Up Next for the Grizzlies
Following Fridays match Adams State University Grizzlies will be hitting the road again up to Gunnison, Colorado to face Wester Colorado Mountaineers this Sunday. This Sunday's game will end the second weekend of conference play for the Grizzlies and the Mountaineers.

Kickoff for Sunday's game is slated for 1:00 p.m. (MST) and can be streamed on the RMAC Network.

The Mountaineers are coming with a 3-4-1 record in the early goings of the season. The Mountaineers are looking to continue their winning streak against Colorado State University Pueblo.

The Mountaineers are led by freshman Taylor Bottoms with one goal and one assist followed by her fellow teammates: Kylie Hickox, Natasha Kasozi, Reese Mercer who all have the same record.

Goalkeeper Aubree Orosco has a goal against average of 1.90 and a save percentage or 0.767.
