VB | Grizzlies sweep Cowgirls in pod action

ALAMOSA, Colo. — In a 3-0 sweep, the Grizzly volleyball  defeated New Mexico Highlands University on Thursday. The first set ended 25-16, the second set ended 25-17, and the third and final set ended 25-20. 

The Grizzlies move to 6-15 on the season and 4-7 in conference play. 

Adams State 3, NMHU 0 
Anna Huggins accounted for 9 kills and Angela Youngs, Natalie Gallegos, and Cindy Garcia added 7 each. Remi Vargas and Madeleine Benally combined for 36 assists, while Katie Bauer had 5 solo blocks. 

Saturday's Game
The Grizzlies will host Chadron State on Saturday. Tomorrow Chadron State and NMHU will play in Plachy Hall.
