BOULDER, Colo. - Getting their first taste of the hardwood this season, the Adams State University women's basketball team opened the season with an exhibition game at the University of Colorado. The No. 20 Buffaloes won the game 81-57.
The Grizzlies and Buffaloes were tied at 18 after one quarter before the Buffaloes took off and outscored the Grizzlies 20-9 in the second quarter.
Harmanie Dominguez was the leading the leading scorer for the Grizzlies with 17 points. RiRi Davis scored 10 and Kiiyani Antitielu scored 14.
The Grizzlies return to action on Sunday when they take on the University of New Mexico Lobos inside The Pit at 4:00 p.m.
