WSOC | Mountain Lions down Grizzlies in Monday match

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Despite early adversity the Adams State University women's soccer team dropped Monday's Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) match up at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, 5-0.

A questionable red card in the 16th minute led to another in the 19th minutes. The first red card led to a penalty kick goal to put the Mountain Lions up for good.

Playing with ten players, they surrendered two more goals in the first half before scoring two in the second.

Adams State was able to take three shots on goal.

The Grizzlies close out the season on Wednesday when they host NMHU.
