ALAMOSA, Colo. -- Adams State University used a 43-point second half to beat Colorado State University-Pueblo 74-54 inside Plachy Hall on Friday
The Grizzlies had a one-point lead at the intermission. ASU outscored the ThunderWolves by eight points in the third quarter and by 11 points in the fourth quarter to pick up the win.
JaNaiya Davis led the ThunderWolves with 17 points and seven rebounds. Charisse Fairley scored seven, and Daeja Johnson added six. Â
Harmanie Dominguez led the Grizzlies with 23 points.
Angelline Nageak added 15, and
Darlisha Reed tossed in 13, plus she grabbed seven rebounds. So didÂ
Sharmayne Finley.
ASU is 15-7 this season, 11-5 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, while CSU-Pueblo slips to 10-12 and 7-9 in conference play.Â
The Grizzlies made 46 percent of their field goals against CSU-Pueblo and 36 percent of their tries from 3-point range.
The Grizzlies, riding a two-game winning streak, get back to work at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, at Fort Lewis College in Durango.
