ALAMOSA, Colo. – The CSU Pueblo ThunderWolves were able to run-rule the Adams State University Grizzlies on Friday night at the ASU Baseball Field, 23-2.
The Grizzlies surrendered 23 runs on 20 hits and an error. They scored their two runs on six hits and defensive error.
Matt Bathauer singled home his brother Mike for their lone run in the bottom of the first. Mike then scored Zack Dawson on sacrifice fly in the bottom of the fifth to make the score 21-2.
The Grizzlies look to rebound as they host the ThunderWolves for a doubleheader on Saturday starting at 12:00 p.m.
