DURANGO, Colo. – The Adams State University softball team could not capitalize on errors as they were swept by the Fort Lewis College Skyhawks at Aspen Field on Saturday.
Game 1: Fort Lewis 10, Adams State 6
Despite giving up four errors the Skyhawks scored six unanswered to pull out the win.
The Grizzlies scored the first run in the top of the second inning when Bri Rosas doubled home

Danielle Hood hit a sacrifice fly to score Garbiso in the fourth.
Fort Lewis scored four runs in tbe bottom of the fourth including a three-run blat to take a 4-2 lead into the fifth inning.
In the fifth inning, an error allowed two unearned runs to score before another error on a stolen base led to another run.
The Grizzlies had six hits in the game. Garbiso was tabbed with the loss after she tossed 5.2 innings of work.
Game 2: Fort Lewis 9, Adams State 0
The Skyhawks scored three runs in the bottom of the second and bottom of the third to take a 5-0 lead into the fourth inning. They were shut out 9-0 after five innings.
