SB | Grizzlies fall in sweep at Chadron

CHADRON, NEB.—Easter weekend got a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) series underway a day earlier in Chadron Nebraska on Saturday as the Grizzlies tangled with the Eagles in a doubleheader.

Game 1: Chadron State 3, Adams State 0
With only eight hits combined between both teams, the Grizzlies only mustered three and had one error in the opening game.

The Eagles cracked the scoring open in the bottom of the third on a solo big fly before an error allowed the unearned run to cross. One more bad pitch allowed the final run to cross the plate for the 3-0 win.
Jade Garbiso was tabbed with the loss as she surrendered the three runs in 4.1 innings of work.

Game 2: Chadron State 5, Adams State 0
The Eagles scored the first run of the game in the second inning in a single that saw the Eagle runner make her away around the base paths. They scored another run in the next inning on a solo blast.

CSC was able to score three runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to close the game.
