ALAMOSA, Colo. — The women's volleyball team started conference play off strong with a big win Saturday. The Grizzlies dominated all three sets of the match and won 3-0.
Adams State 3, New Mexico Highlands 0
Adams State outscored NMHU 75-52 through three sets and won each set 25-19, 25-14, and 25-19 respectively. Remi Vargus and
Madeleine Benally led the Grizzlies with 30 combined assists, while
Anna Huggins,
Natalie Gallegos, and
Cindy Garcia combined for 26 total kills.Huggins had several electrical blocks as well.

The women's volleyball team will be back on the road to face Colorado State Pueblo Tuesday, the 19th, at 7:00 p.m. The Thunderwolves come into the matchup 2-7, also coming off of a win against New Mexico Highlands.
