LAS VEGAS, N.M. — The Grizzlies battled hard against Fort Lewis College Friday night; however, after four sets the Skyhawks came out on top. Adams State moves to 4-10 on the season.

Each of the first two sets went to Fort Lewis, outscoring Adams State 25-20 and 25-22. The Grizzlies bounced back in the third set and won 25-22, but narrowly lost the fourth set 25-23. Angela Youngs and Anna Huggins combined for 32 kills, while Remi Vargus had 28 assists.

The women's volleyball team will be back to Alamosa to host Westminster College on October 6th, at 7:00 p.m. The following day, on October 7th, at 4:00 p.m., the Grizzlies will host #14 Colorado Mesa University.
