PUEBLO, Colo. - The Adams State University wrestling team closed out the dual portion of the season on Wednesday night inside Massari Arena. Adams State fell 24-16.
Adams State won the first three matches before CSU Pueblo won the next seven, all by decision.
Adams State saw
Isaiah Gamez win the 125 pound match with a fall in less than a minute and a half.
DJ Van Matre earned a 13-4 major decision at 133 pounds and
Angel Flores needed a little over a minute in the second period to get the fall in 3:56.
Adams State will close out the regular portion of the season on Sunday when they compete at the Rocky Mountain Collegiate Open hosted by Colorado School of Mines.
