SB | Colorado Christian Sweeps Adams State

ALAMOSA, Colo. – Adams State University's softball team faced a bitter defeat as they were swept 14-5 and 15-0 by the No. 14 ranked Colorado Christian Cougars in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) action at the ASU Softball Field on Sunday afternoon. Both games ended in five-inning run-rule losses.

Game 1: CCU 14, ASU 5 (5 inn.)
After two scoreless innings, the game took a dramatic turn in the third as both teams struggled to keep the other off the scoreboard.

The Cougars surged ahead 6-0 with timely hits, including a deep two-run home run. Despite Adams State's efforts to rally, narrowing the gap to 6-5 with runs off errors, CCU extended their lead with a sacrifice fly in the fourth and a dominant seven-run performance in the fifth to seal the victory.

Game 2: CCU 15, ASU 0 (5 inn.)
Colorado Christian maintained their offensive momentum, scoring in every inning with three runs in the first, one in the second, three in the third, and a commanding eight-run rally in the fourth.
