Alamosa, Colo. - The Adams State men's lacrosse team continued their season against Tusculum University on Thursday. The Grizzlies celebrated Senior Day and honored eight seniors at the start of the contest. The final score ended 13-17 in favor of the Pioneers. The Grizzlies move to 1-11 on the season and 1-5 in RMAC play.

The first quarter started off even, with the Grizzlies scoring first and then the Pioneers scored right back. This trend continued throughout the first quarter and the quarter ended 4-4. The Pioneers had a great second and third quarters, though. They out scored the Grizzlies 12-3 in the middle quarter; however, the game was far from over going into the fourth quarter. The Grizzlies scored 6 points to the Pioneers 1 in the fourth quarter, but they came up just short and the game ended 17-13 in favor of Tusculum. Dawson Balabanoff led the Grizzlies with five goals and one assist while Brett Carberry and Kris Owens contributed two goals apiece.
The Grizzlies will be back in action next Friday at 3pm to face off against Colorado Mesa University at home.
