Grizzlies Drop Both Games Sunday to End the Series

Alamosa, Colo. - The Adams State Softball team played their second doubleheader of their four game series versus CSU Pueblo on Sunday. The first game ended 0-14 and the second game ended 0-12, both in favor of CSU Pueblo. The Grizzlies move to 5-40 on the season and 3-33 in RMAC play. 

Game 1 - CSU Pueblo 14, Adams State 0

Through six innings, the Thunderwolves scored 4 runs in the first inning, 1 run in each of the third and fourth innings, and 8 runs in the sixth inning.

The Grizzlies had 0 runs on 3 hits from 22 at bats compared to CSU Pueblo's 14 runs on 12 hits and 31 at bats. 

Game 2 - CSU Pueblo 12, Adams State 0

Through five innings, the Thunderwolves held the Grizzlies to zero runs, while scoring 1 run in the second inning, 8 runs in the fourth inning, and 3 more in the fifth inning. 

The Grizzlies had 0 runs on hits from 28 at bats compared to CSU Pueblo's 12 runs on 13 hits and 28 at bats. 

Next Up

The Grizzlies will be back in action next weekend to play Chadron State College next weekend. Games start at 12:00PM Saturday and the Grizzlies will also be celebrating Senior weekend.
