Alamosa, Colo. - The Adams State baseball team played their first game of their four game series versus Colorado State University Pueblo on Friday. The Grizzlies struggled offensively and the game ended 15-3 in favor of the Thunderwolves. This game brings the Grizzlies to 18-21 on the season and 13-8 in RMAC play. 
CSU Pueblo 15, Adams State 3
The Thunderwolves were the first on the board, scoring 1 run in the second inning. The Grizzlies would then answer right back, scoring 1 run in the top of the third inning; however, in the bottom of the third inning CSUP scored 7 more runs. The Grizzlies tried to battle back, securing 2 more runs in the fourth inning, but that would be the end of their scoring. The Thunderwolves would then go to score 3 runs in the sixth inning and 4 more runs in the eighth inning. The game would end 15-3 after eight innings in favor of CSU Pueblo. 
The Grizzlies had 3 runs on 7 hits from 30 at bats compared to CSU Pueblo's 15 runs on 15 hits and 38 at bats.

The Grizzlies will be back in action Saturday starting at 2pm to play a doubleheader and continue their series against CSUP.
