Rapid City, S.D. — Adams State volleyball continued its strong stretch of Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play Saturday afternoon, rolling to a straight-set sweep over South Dakota Mines (25–21, 25–21, 25–20) to make it a six straight game win streak.
The Grizzlies (10–9 overall, 5–3 RMAC) controlled the match from start to finish, hitting .333 as a team while holding the Hardrockers to just .224. Adams State's attack was fueled by a balanced offensive effort that saw four players record at least seven kills.
Hadleigh Richardson led the way with 13 kills on a blistering .407 hitting percentage, adding 13 digs and two block assists for a double-double performance. Rowan Tribelhorn added nine kills without an error to hit .600, while Olivia Lunt chipped in eight kills and a block assist.
Setter Peyton Priddy kept the offense humming with 23 assists and two aces, while fellow setter Ellie Miller dished out 16 assists. Defensively, Logan Conlin anchored the back row with 11 digs, and Katie Bauer added six blocks — two of them solo — to go along with six kills and two aces.
Adams State's efficient offense proved too much for South Dakota Mines (5–13, 3–5 RMAC), particularly late in each set as the Grizzlies closed strong.
Adams State returns home next weekend to host Fort Lewis College inside Plachy Hall, Friday at 6 p.m.
