Colorado Springs, Colo. – Kiiyani Anitielu and Taejhuan Hill earned Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference honors, with Anitielu named to the first team and Hill to the second team, as announced by the RMAC on Thursday morning.
Anitielu, a junior, secured first-team recognition after a record-breaking season. She set the NCAA's highest individual game point total this season and shattered both the school and RMAC records with a 52-point performance in a 96-54 win over Westminster last month.
The Farmington, N.M., native finished the season with 539 points while shooting 44.1% from the field, 32.7% from three-point range, and 81.8% from the free-throw line. She also grabbed 107 rebounds and tallied 61 steals.
Hill was named to the RMAC second team after an outstanding freshman campaign. The Albuquerque, N.M., native is tied for fifth in the NCAA in double-doubles this season with 17—the only freshman ranked in the top 20.
