ALAMOSA, Colo. — Adams State freshman Sophia Miera earns Honorable Mention All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference recognition, the league announces Tuesday, November 3. Miera represents the Grizzlies on the 2026 women's soccer all-conference list.
The Santa Fe, New Mexico, native makes an impact in her first collegiate season, appearing in all 18 matches and logging 972 minutes. She records two goals and two assists for six points, ranking second on the team in points and leading the Grizzlies in assists.
Miera contributes to key moments throughout the season. She provides the assist on Shay Norden's game-winning goal against Colorado Christian on September 27, helping Adams State secure a 1–0 conference victory. She also scores against Colorado School of Mines in the Grizzlies' home finale on October 25.
The honor recognizes Miera's debut campaign following her high school career at Saint Michael's High School in Santa Fe. She joins an all-conference group selected by the RMAC's 13 head coaches, who cannot vote for their own players.
