COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO — Adams State University women's golf has been selected to finish 10th in the 2026-27 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women's Golf Preseason Coaches' Poll, as the conference announced Tuesday. The Grizzlies received 11 points in the preseason voting, which was conducted by the RMAC's head coaches. 

Adams State enters the 2026-27 season looking to climb the conference standings and build on its experience from last season. The Grizzlies finished the 2026 RMAC Women's Golf Championship at 59-over par, according to the championship results.

CSU Pueblo was selected as the preseason favorite with 76 points, followed closely by Westminster University with 74 points. Colorado Christian University earned 63 points to finish third, while Colorado Mesa University was fourth with 60 points. MSU Denver rounded out the top five with 41 points.

Following the top five was Chadron State in sixth with 37 points, South Dakota Mines and Fort Lewis tied for seventh with 35 points, Black Hills State in ninth with 18 points, and Adams State in tenth with 11 points. 

The Grizzlies will face a competitive RMAC field throughout the upcoming season, with Adams State looking to use its returning experience and continued development to make a move up the conference leaderboard.

The 2026-27 season marks another opportunity for Adams State to compete against some of the top programs in NCAA Division II women's golf. The Grizzlies will look to establish themselves early in the season and carry that momentum into the spring portion of the schedule and the RMAC Championship.
