Biography

Prep: Played for the Louis D. Brandeis HS Broncos under Maddie Williams… Had a total of 1010 kills, 335 blocks, 113 aces, and 365 digs in her HS career… She was a 4 year starting letterman… Received All-Tournament in 2011 and 2012… In 2011 she was also recognized for 2nd team All-District – 27 5A… In 2012, she received 1st team All-District 27 – 5A and 2nd team All-Academic 27 – 5A… She broke the school record for block (136.5) and kills (413) in 2011… Team finished 1st in the Texas Lone Star Qualifier, qualified for the Junior Olympics, and finished 5th overall in the American at Junior Olympics in 2011.
Academics: Is majoring in biology… Graduated from Louis D. Brandeis HS in 2013 with a 3.6 GPA… ON the honor roll all 4 years of HS… Inducted into the National Honor Society in 2011… Wants to attend Physicians’ Assistant school… Wants to focus on Neonatal Medicine.
Off the Court: Born 09/24/94… Daughter of James James and Lisa Parker… Mother played middle blocker at Texas Lutheran University all 4-years attended… Mother was an NAIA All-American her 2nd year… Sister to Makenzie who is 15… Enjoys hanging with family and friends… Favorite movies are Remember the Titans and Finding Nemo… Favorite foods are Mediterranean food… Favortie professional sports team is Real Madrid.
Why you Chose Adams State: I had seen many schools on my visits and met with many coaches and teams. However each time I left my visit something just didn’t seem right. Prior to visiting Adam State, I researched the school, looked at the web site and even saw some of the YouTube videos. Something told me that ASU was where I belonged. The coaches, and the team was exactly what I was looking for; a close knit family. I knew I would be far away from my family and I needed to be part of a team and a community that would be my family away from family.
