Prep: With Williams Field (Ariz.) High School, Owens accounted for 233 receiving yards and three touchdowns as a junior in 2013. Owens, a dual sport athlete, was also a high school sprinter with personal bests of 10.7 seconds in the 100 meter dash and 21.8 seconds in the 200 meter dash. He also served as a kickoff returner for the Black Hawks.
