Biography

2014: Started 16 games in goal for the Grizzlies...Made 71 saves and recorded one shutout victory...  Registered 1389 minutes of play....RMAC All-Conference Honorable Mention as a freshman.

Prep: Competed all four years on the varsity team for the Frontier Academy Wolverines...Austin was Second Team All-Conference his sophomore year... First Team All-Conference his junior and senior yearn....He was also All-State Honorable Mention. Helped his team to two league championships his junior and senior year. Also played basketball and track. Senior year, Triple Jump State Champion, 2nd place 4X1 relay and All-State. 

Academics: Plans to major in Pre-Med and work toward becoming an Orhopedic Surgeon... Graduated with a 4.27 high school GPA... Best Male Student, 2014.

Personal: Son of Jodi and Kelly Baumeister....Brother to Haden and Shelbi....Hobbies- hiking, mountain biking, camping, and hanging with friends.... Favorite Movie: Saving Private Ryan...Favorite Food- Ribs.... Favorite Sports Teams: Denver Broncos and US Men's National Soccer team. 

Why I chose Adams State: I chose ASU because I like the small school atmoshpere.
