Before Adams: Played two years at Colorado Northwestern CC for Stephen Garnett and Jason Graff... 14.9 PPG, 82% from the line, 4.5 RPG, and 76 assists... SWAC 2nd Team All Conference... led conference in scoring and free throw percentage... 4th in conference in steals and 2nd in conference for 3pt FG made.
Prep: Four year letter winner and starter for the Mike Glover coached MCHS Panthers… Her senior year she posted a 17.5 PPG, 78% from the line, 3.2 RBG, 5.2 SPG... Helped lead her team to the Sweet 16 first time in school history... two time First Team All Conference... Second Team All State her senior year... Led the state in 3 pts made, free throws and steals... Holds 10 school records at MCHS... including most 3 point shots made in game (7), season (48), career (122), Free throws in a game (15/15), season (122), season % (78%), assists in a game (11), steals in a game (14), season (97), and career (238)... also competed in softball and track & field for the Panthers... a four year letter winner in softball... two time First Team All Conference at shortstop... two time All State selection at shortstop... helped lead her team to first appearnce at state tournament in school history junior year... regional champs senior year and state apperence... Regional champion for shotput... placed 3rd at State in shotput junior year and 7th senior year... KRTZ Female Athlete of the year as a senior.
Academics: Double major, in Marketing and Finance... career plans are to continue to work for Yapsody (Los Angeles, CA) and in Indian Gaming and continue to help Native Tribes grow... Also would like to one day coach at the college level... Graduated from Montezuma- Cortez HS with a 3.5 GPA... Honor Roll.
Off the Court: Daughter of Darwin and Darlene Whiteman... Sister to Braxton... Enjoys spending time with family, playing sports (basketball, softball, volleyball, & golf), coaching, reading, and participating in traditional and community events... Favorite movie is Love and Basketball and Step Brothers... Favorite food is sushi and pasta... Favorite professional sports team is the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Lakers.
