JC: Played post and guard positions for the Mike Thornton coached Orange Coast College Pirates of Costa Mesa, Calif… Helped lead the Pirates advance to the Elite Eight of the California Community College Athletic Association Tournament in 2011, her freshman season.

Prep: Was named as the team’s most improved player for the Kevin Kiernan coached Mater Dei Monarchs of Santa Ana, Calif., as a senior in 2010… Played the post position… Helped the team win the 2010 state and national championships along with Southern California Regional, CIF Southern Section and Trinity League Championships.

Academics: Plans to major in English with an emphasis in communications.
