Emily Bussey returns to her alma mater after her 2007 graduation and a stellar Grizzly volleyball career where she earned Honorable Mention All-RMAC accolades in 2005. She also helped the Grizzlies win the 2003 RMAC West Division crown.

Bussey, who was an outside hitter, played in 107 matches and 366 games during her four-year career, as she tallied 851 kills, had 60 assists and 725 digs.

After Graduating with a bachelors degree in business administration, Bussey went on to become a certified personal trainer as she was licensed at the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She went on to work as a personal trainer in Las Vegas, Nev.

In 2002, she graduated from Alamosa High School where she was named as a Denver Post Prep Athlete of the week in 2001, and earned All-Conference honors her senior year for the Amy Ortega coached Mean Moose. Bussey also earned All-State and All-Conference honors in basketball and track.
