Kristen DiPaola

Kristen DiPaola enters her second season in 2014 as an assistant coach for the Adams State University volleyball program. 

DiPaola was recruited to play with the Adams State Grizzlies in 2008. Her freshman year she was red shirted but continued playing the following year at Adams in 2009. She transferred to Trinidad State Junior College where Kristen became a double sport athlete to play Volleyball and Basketball. After receiving her Associates degree from TSJC, DiPaola continued her Volleyball career at Dakota State University in Madison, South Dakota.

While attending DSU, DiPaola was chosen for the Most Outstanding Female Athlete of the Year award. She was chosen to be a two-time Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) All-Conference selection. She earned her membership in the 1,000-kill club at DSU in just two years. DiPaola led the A.I.I. and was ranked second in the nation in kills per set at 5.1. She ranked sixth in the nation in total kills with 591. She recorded the second most kills in a single season in the DSU volleyball record book (591 kills). She currently is listed five times in the DSU school record book for most kills in a single match and continues to hold the school record of 31 kills in a single match. At the completion of her final season in 2012, DiPaola had accumulated 1,082 total kills in her two-year career at Dakota State University.

Kristen is the youngest daughter of Michael and Mary Beth DiPaola of Trinidad, CO. She graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Dakota State University in May of 2013.
