Whitney Beiriger is entering her first year as the Assistant Volleyball Coach at Adams State University. Beiriger is a native of the San Luis Valley and a 2015 graduate of Adams State University. Beiriger grew up in the San Luis Valley and graduated high school in 2009 from Sanford. She played volleyball throughout middle school and high school for the Indians. After high school Beiriger attended ASU where she was a part of the developmental volleyball and basketball teams. In 2009, Beiriger began coaching volleyball at the middle school level at Sargent Middle School. She would coach volleyball for three years at Sargent, where she also coached junior high boys’ basketball and was the high school track assistant coach for a season.
In 2011, Beiriger served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Jakarta,
Indonesia where she spoke Indonesian. She returned in 2013 where she completed her
undergraduate degree at Adams State University. In 2013, she began coaching again, as an assistant girls’ basketball coach, under the direction of Blake Canty. She coached two seasons with the Indians. In 2015 Beiriger received her bachelors in Human Performance and Physical Education with two minors: Business and Coaching. She also became the Head Volleyball Coach at Sanford High School and coached two seasons for the Indians.
Beiriger is married to Jeffrey and they have one son, Grayson.
