2017: Played in 23 matches, starting eight ... recorded 28 blocks and 18 digs ... also had 48 kills ... named RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
2016: Played in all but one match ... recorded 112 kills ... second on team with 64 blocks.
Prep: Played under coach Cecilia Moreno Gallegos...in 2015 her team placed 2nd at Districts...In 2015 was awarded Hitter of the Year in District 2-5A...1st Team All District in 2012, 2013 and 2015.
Academics: Intends to major in Exercise Science at ASU... career plans are to attend medical school and become a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT).
Off the Court: Daughter of Hector and Cuba Diaz...has two two brothers, Hector and Elier...enjoys spending time with parents, watching TV with her brothers, and having fun with her best friend...favorite movie is 3 Idiots...favorite food is Mexican.
Why I Chose Adams State: "ASU has everything I am looking for in a university: my major, volleyball, and a good environment. But what led to make my final decision was the fact that everyone made me feel welcomed, and that was very important to me. I chose Adams State because I honestly felt at home."
