Adams State University

Prep: Tallied 446 digs, 321 kills, 39 service aces, and 37 blocks during three seasons at Dakota Ridge…team captain and MVP during senior season…collected single-season highs in kills (153) and digs (169) during senior season…under head coach Nikki Kneuer, Dakota Ridge qualified for regionals in 2013…also played for the Colorado Volleyball Association as an outside hitter.
 
Academics: Intends to major in Business with an emphasis in health care administration.
 
Off The Court: Daughter to Shannon and Audra Phares…has two siblings (Kayla and Amanda)…favorite team is the Denver Broncos…enjoys spending time with family and friends when not concentrating on volleyball…favorite food is spaghetti.
 
Why I Chose Adams State: “I chose Adams State because the first time I visited I walked on campus and it felt like home. It felt like it fit me and I decided that I wanted Adams’ to be my home for the next four years. I fell in the love with the campus, the volleyball program, and the school overall. I was really impressed with the dedication to the student-athletes and all the help that is provided for each and every student.”
