Before ASU: Played for University of Texas-Pan American in 2014 after two seasons with Colby Community College (Kansas). With UTPA, Munson started and dished out 18 assists while tying career-high with eight kills at Incarnate Word (11/4) … Recorded career-high two blocks vs. Kansas City (10/18) … Dished out career-high 32 assists in start vs. Grand Canyon (9/27) … Started and recorded career-high 23 assistss with six digs against New Orelans (9/13) … Posted career-high 21 assists vs. Stephen F. Austin (9/13) … Dished out career-high 17 assists at Sam Houston State (8/30) … Recorded one assist and one dig in debut vs. Louisiana-Monroe (8/29).
During the 2012 and 2013 seasons with Colby CC she earned All-American honors as well as three conference and two national player of the week awards while averaging 11.10 assists 2.08 digs and 0.33 aces per set as a sophomore … Led team to the conference championship before finishing second at regionals after posting a 26-10 record in 2013 … As a freshman, averaged 9.30 assists, 2.19 digs and 0.21 aces per set while leading team to a 23-13 record.
Prep: Played varsity volleyball all four years while also spending two seasons on the varsity basketball team … Averaged 4.2 assists, 3.0 digs and 0.23 aces per set as a senior.
Academics: Intends to major in Sports Psychology at Adams State
