ALAMOSA, Colo. (October 3, 2015)—The Adams State University Grizzlies women's volleyball team lost their Saturday night match against Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) foe the No. 18 Colorado School of Mines. With tonight's results, the Grizzlies fall to 3-11,2-4 in RMAC play while the visiting Orediggers improve their record to 11-3, 5-1 RMAC.
ASU lost via set scores of 25-13, 25-20, 25-15. The Grizzlies could not find a defensive answer to the offensive trio of Alanna Winfield, Megan Peterson, and Frannie Cormier. Each of the aforementioned Orediggers tallied a minimum of 10 kills highlighted by Winfield's 14 kills off a .444 hitting percentage.
