(November 1,2015)—In their final game of the 2015 campaign, the Adams State University Grizzlies women's soccer team took on the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs Mountain Lions earlier today at Mountain Lion Stadium. The Grizzlies were victorious with a 2-1 win over UCCS.

The Grizzlies would draw the first blood of the game with a goal in the twenty-fourth minute of play. Dezirae Armijo would be afforded a corner kick, which would result in assist by herself and Daniel, with Ashley Furbush finding the back of the net to put Adams State up 1-0.  The Grizzlies would maintain the lead heading in to half time.

In the first period, Adams State would tally eight shots, and only hold the Mountain Lions to four. O'Connor would only face two saves.

To start the second period of play, UCCS would come out strong, but would be unable to break the tough Grizzly defense. The first shot for Adams State would be a header by Armijo, but it would be wide.

In the sixty-eight minute of play, Elaine Van de Wille would score her first goal of the season off of an assist by Furbush, to give the Grizzlies a 2-0 lead.
