ALAMOSA, Colo. (March 17, 2015) -- It was an active day at the plate on Tuesday for Adams State University during a 17-4 win over Oklahoma Panhandle State University. The team registered new single game bests for runs (17) and team batting average (.455).
The non-conference home win moves ASU to 7-12 overall as the Aggies fall to 3-18. On the season, the Grizzlies are now 3-1 against Oklahoma Panhandle.
Adams State produced a total of five multi-run innings highlighted by a five-run fourth inning. Despite the surge in offense throughout the game it was the Aggies who claimed the first run in the top of the first. The lead was short-lived as ASU produced three runs in the bottom of the frame and never looked back.

ASU's home stand resumes on Friday to begin a four game series with Colorado Christian University. First pitch is slated for 3:00 p.m. on Friday.Â
