ALAMOSA, Colo. (March 20, 2015) – A rough sixth and eighth inning translated to a 10-3 loss for Adams State University against Colorado Christian University on Friday afternoon. The Cougars posted four runs in the sixth and five more in the eighth to open the game up.
With the loss, ASU drops to 7-13 overall and 3-6 in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) action. CCU improves to 8-13, 3-10 RMAC. The teams return to the diamond tomorrow at 12:00 p.m. for a Saturday doubleheader.

Bollig finished 3-of-5 at the plate and accounted for two runs as shortstop
Jaron Dorchinez went 2-of-3 with two RBI. Pitcher
Jeffrey Schmitt (2-3) picks up the loss after lasting 5.1 innings on the mound. Schmitt allowed seven hits and struck out three.
