DURANGO, Colo. (October 5
th, 2016) --- The men's soccer team had a tough outing tonight losing to Fort Lewis College by a score of 0-7.
Adams State (4-7) fell behind early and would never recover. 7 Fort Lewis (6-5) players scored goals tonight and out shot ASU 22-3.
Coach Bentley had this to say: "Credit to Fort Lewis for the way they played today. Unfortunately for us, we needed to be better than perfect against them, especially considering the level of talent they possess. We were on the back foot from the first whistle and were a step behind all day. However, we won't dwell on this, we will just use it as motivation to get back home and work harder to be better."
The Grizzlies return to Alamosa on Sunday, October 9
th for their next game against Colorado State University-Pueblo at 2:30pm.
