ALAMOSA- The Adams State University Softball team had something to cheer about on Saturday as they were able to capture two exciting, 1-run, walk-off wins in Saturday's Pod Weekend action.
The Grizzlies battled and earned a come-from-behind walk off 5-4 win over UC-Colorado Springs in the first game before battling into the ninth inning before downing Regis 6-5.
"We have a very good team, that came back today," said Head Coach Dervin taylor after the games. "I'm very proud of them for the way that we came back and fought, but we have to stop making mistakes. It's the mental mistakes that are costing us, and when we don't make those mental mistakes we are a good team."

Kelsi Kautz with one out in the bottom of the seventh and a single to right field from
